Known for her dynamic images of New York dancing nightlife and the underground house music scene, Jaecyne Howell delivers another facet of her work with the photographic series "black . beautiful . | a new project," a personal exploration of sensuality, vulnerability and eroticism.

The first volume of the series, "black . | a sensual experience" captures the photographer in a series of provocative self-portraits, while the second volume, "beautiful . | the new standard" (Summer 2010) seeks to destroy ideals dictated to many women and capture subjects who are simply comfortable in their skin, the ultimate standard of beauty.

The celebration will be held at the event, "Open Your Eyes...A Provocative Affair" with Lion1Music's MKL and Jay Locke bringing their brand of sexy sounds all night long.
