Singing sensation Alicia Keys is busy on her “The Element of Freedom” tour but she made time for a performance and interview on The Oprah Winfrey show that aired today (March 5).

During her appearance, she talked about her friendship with Beyonce, that she says started years ago and working on the video for their duet, Put It In A Love Song.

“We had so much fun,” Alicia exclaimed about the video shoot that took place in Brazil last month. She described the paparazzi attention the shoot garnered as “insane” and says “the people were unbelievable. They all came out at every place and every shoot we did, they were there.”

Later in the interview, talk shifted to Alicia’s work with Beyonce’s husband, rap superstar Jay-Z. “He was one of the people I always dreamed of working with because when I was 16-years-old and trekking into Columbia Records with my Timberlands on and my headphones on, I was riding on the train listening to him.”
